Instructions:
Cut the yarn, leaving a tail 3–4 times longer than the width of your knitting. Thread the tail onto a tapestry needle. With the right side (RS) facing:
- Insert the needle through the first three stitches on the left needle as if to purl, from right to left.
- Pull the yarn through all three stitches, but do not drop them off the needle.
- Slip only the first stitch from the left needle onto the right needle without knitting.
- Repeat steps 1–3 two more times.
- Insert the needle through the first three stitches on the left needle as if to purl, from right to left.
- Slip only the first stitch from the left needle.
- Repeat steps 5–6 until the entire round is cast off.
